 Great Frame! January 5, 2009
High quality and easy enough for a non geek like me to set up and use right out of the box. Very easy to program and the picture quality is excellent.
Bad viewing angle from the logo side January 1, 2009
From three sides (top, left and right), the angles for viewing are pretty good. But from the bottom in landscape (which is the same as from the right in portrait), the picture goes away quickly when view from the side. Any one else noticed that?

This is just what I wanted. Got a Phillips frame as a gift. It was horrible. Returned it and got this Sony. So easy to use and many features. It's perfect.

Sony DPF-D80 8-Inch LCD Digital Photo Frame (Black) We loaded a digital card (not included) with over a 1000 photos of her children, grandchildren, family and extended family, including scanned photos from her youth. It was such a hit, no one could not tear themselves away from the frame all evening! It's sleek and clean, simple to use, and the photos were large enough for most of us to forgo our eyeglasses. It comes with an easy to use remote that our 85-year-old mother can operate. We'd buy it again, in a heartbeat. As a matter-of-fact, we're all buying it for other family members. It's a great "group" gift!
Great Christmas gift December 28, 2008
I bought this frame for my parents for Christmas. They love it. They were able to put pictures on themselves and quickly learned how to use it. One of the best gifts I've purchased for them. I decided on a Sony after reading the reviews on this site. I wanted to buy them a higher end frame with a reputable name. They are very pleased with my decision.
