Product Description Solid build, with beautiful slats gives this crib an elegant look for all seasons and all babies. Solid wood, and the convertible features make parents want to buy this beautiful design for their precious baby.
With Storkcrafts unique "wing" feature, the Rochester Crib is convertible. All Stages cribs come with a wing and can be converted into a Day Bed or a Double Bed. Please note that Stages cribs do not include a double bed frame. In addition to the impressive features of the Rochester Stages crib, this version adds the benefit of a drawer, providing Mom and Dad with heaps of convenient storage for baby?s needs. Using heavy-duty metal slides, the drawer easily slides in and out even when fully loaded. Dimensions: 60.75L x 29.5W x 49H. Weight: 85 lbs

not so great August 20, 2008 I recieved this crib for my babyshower but I foolishly didn't set it up or inspect it right away (I waited 7 months until I needed it). Several of the pieces had a red lipstick substance on them that I had to clean off, the stain on the whole product wasn't even (it looked well used before I even put it together), some of the convertable parts were damaged (scratches and gouged),the side drop rail is hard to operate, the draw falls off the track frequently and the design of the "head board" makes it imposible to put it flat in a corner because of a lump in the design. When I called the company I got a lot of greive because I waited so long to call and in the end they wanted me to order replacement parts at my cost???!!! Over all I think that I would have been better off going to a resale shop or a yard sale for better quality. If it wouldn't break my mothers heart I would toss it out to the curb and get a better one at any yard sale.
Very nice looking but beware June 16, 2008 I recently purchased this crib for my impending bundle of joy. It didn't take long to assemble... maybe an hour... looks absolutely beautiful. My only issues with it are that some parts came damaged. One part used for doing the daybed has a big gouge in it. Also the railing had a scratch on it. We turned it the other way and you can't see it though. Also, the drop rail is a little hard to drop down for me. My husband seems to have no problems, but it's challenging for me. Also, the platform that the mattress sets on seems rather flimsy and not very sturdy, so I may re-enforce it later... I'll decide when I actually have a mattress to put in there. It IS very pretty though and overall I'm pleased.
Beautiful Crib!! August 1, 2007 I purchased this crib for my soon to be born grandaughter, Ava. I read reviews on other websites and then was a little hesitant to buy it, as some had problems with it, some did not. We are absolutely thrilled with this crib. It is a gorgeous piece of furniture that will be functional from the day she is born until the day she is ready to leave home for college, since it converts from crib, to toddler bed, to full size bed. The color is great, the quality is superb! It looks like a very expensive piece, so for the price, this is more than satisfactory! I would definitely recommend this crib and I would buy it again. In fact, the next grandchild will also get this crib, if it is still available at the time.
Really disappointed July 31, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I do not think this crib is very well made, it is really badly scratched and nicked, but worst of all, there is no way to lock the side that comes down. There is a little notch at the bottom of the rail and you just rest the bottom of the rail on that notch. But baby grabbing the rails to lift himself is enough to remove the rail from the notch. We have to leave the drawer open so the rail doesn't fall down and create a danger to our 8 month old.
The wood is not that great, the crib is not really as sturdy as I've seen others and would expect. It looks nice from a distance, but up close, once put together, it's really a disappointment. I'm so sorry we wasted our money on this product.
Storkcraft is awful to try to do business with. They close at 3pm pacific time and they are on the west coast. They want the crib number, even though we know the crib name and can find it on their web site. The instructions are extremely poor and there is NOTHING about raising and lowering the side rail and how they think it should lock.
I think you can get a lot better for your money. The only reason I didn't give it a lower score is because, it does work, it's just not very good quality.
Good Value For The Money May 15, 2007 Wow! How many parts are there to putting a crib together? The instuctions were a little vague in a few areas, but we were able to figure it out. It is very nice looking. The storage drawer below the crib is great. All is all, the crib is a very good value for the money.
