The crib mattress also includes all around border rods which keep sides, corners and edges firm. It is just like an adult mattress in that sense. THe product is great! Truly enjoying downsizing in order to have a second nursery. The only issue I had was that Amazon sent us someone else's order making ours late and we are part of Amazon Prime. They sent our order out again but when it arrived it was NOT packaged well at all. The tape was coming off and they threw the plastic protective wrap on top of the boxes versus around them, making it useless. We have never been disappointed but now may have to think about renewing our subscription to Amazon Prime! The Space Bags are fantastic though! The Jumbo bag holds a WHOLE Rubbermaid Jumbo bin of baby clothes!! Highly recommended.

Best crib mattress ever purchased. Firm enough to keep baby safe, yet it is still very comfortable to baby. My son has been using it for 9 months, and he absolutely loves it and has no problems sleeping at all. It is also very durable; definitely a mattress I would pay a lot more for; great deal!!

I researched mattresses and decided on this one. They also sold this mattress at Sears but it cost on sale about $15 more than what I got it for at Amazon. It fits perfect in the crib and my son (3 mo.) sleeps well on it.

I bought this in September 2009 to use in my daughter's crib a DaVinci Kalani Convertible Crib. It fits snugly in the crib and my daughter sleeps very well on it. I do know have anything else to compare it against but I would recommend to others since my daughter likes it. The mattress is not super hard, has a little softness to it but not too much.
