Pottie time made easy November 5, 2008 What a great idea for potty training. My grandaughter thinks she is a "big girl" when using this product. It has made potty training so easy!
Great customer service! October 29, 2008 I've had this since my 5 year old daughter was potty training at 2yo. It was so helpful! No need to retrain her from a "potty" to the toilet. She was much more comfortable going potty in the toilet with the trainer. This really helper her with the #2 because she had a foothold to push. my 2nd child is a boy and it really helped him aim and such with the handles of the freedom by his sides. He trained sitting first and he was very comfortable. Now my 3rd child is being toilet trained. My older two had taken out ALL the knobs prior to and we had lost them. I emailed Primo hoping they'll have some extra screws I can buy. But guess what? They emailed right away and offered to send them to me! I can't wait to get them so my youngest can use the Freedom Trainer!
Instant Results October 9, 2008 We were slowly working towards complete potty training, but after 6 months it seemed like we plateaued. The kids knew what to do, and how to do it, but they lacked the "want to" do it, which is of course, the key! So we bought two of these, thinking the price made it a 'why not' decision, even if it was a failure. As soon as we assembled it (in 3 minutes), and set it up, they knew what it was for without explanation. Eyes lit up, they couldn't wait to try it out. And we've been in potty heaven ever since!! If you are where we were, and your child is an independent spirit who loves doing things her/himself, then try this. It gives them more control over this rather odd process. FYI mine weighed about 26 pounds when they first used it, and they still like it (ages 3-1/2). We did lose one of the side screws once, but it popped right back in and we've had no problems since. We have removed the rug from the floor around the toilet so it sits on a flat tile surface and is very sturdy.
Motivating for Early Potty Trainers August 10, 2008 From the moment the PRIMO Freedom Trainer was delivered to our house, my daughter was excited, yelling out, "Potty!" At only 2 years old, she is just beginning to show signs that she is ready to train but was not interested in the potty chair we first purchased. She loves this seat. She now asks to use the potty! She can grab it and set it up and put it away on her own. The only drawback is that we have a taller than average toilet and the legs of the trainer are not long enough and can't be adjusted; I have to stack a lot of magazines under the legs making the seat a bit unstable. Wish it came with adjustable legs or was available for taller toilets.
A Piece of Useless Junk! July 25, 2008 This was awful. I already own a seat like this from another company and I absolutely love it as does my daughter. So, when I saw the Primo version, I thought I'd purchase it for our upstairs bathroom. Besides the fact that the seat is hard and the plastic is cheap and flimsy, The arms that the child holds onto and connects the stool and the seat - well, it's too short. The feet can't even reach the bottom of our floor and we have a standard size/height toilet! Definitely a waste of $$$ and I wouldn't recommend this product at all.
