Happy Mom April 18, 2010 S. Takagi (Houston, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My daughter is 19 months old and this potty has really peaked my daughter's interest in potty training. She has not successfully made a splash in it yet, but sure loves to sit on it and try. Getting close I think. She really likes the DVD as well and the whistle gets her to run to the potty chair. The only downfall I have found with it is that the back part of the potty can be easily taken off by my daughter....wish was more securely attached.
Great potty for child and parents! April 13, 2010 Dawn B. Hall (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this when our daughter turned 16 mos old to get use to her potty with hopes to start potty training at 18 mos.
The songs that it sings is Wonderful!, she gets excited and it also lets us know that she went potty, without having to peek.
This is the only one we have ever purchased so I cannot compare but we have NO complaints.
I can't get my daughter off of it April 12, 2010 ALeigh (Seattle, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I can't get my daughter to *stop* using this potty. She wants to be on it all the time, and she giggles when it sings to her. Be careful though, the songs get stuck in your head. "toi-let paper, toi-let paper..."
Great! Just like a real potty - made all the difference!!! March 4, 2010 Morgan's mom (Omaha, NE USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Our daughter is 23 months old. We had a cheap potty and she went on it once in a while. However, daycare has real toilets, just toddler sized. She always goes on their's. Lately, she has asked to go to the potty, but when I ask her to sit on that one, she cries and says no. The big potty is way too big for her even with a toilet insert. So, I purchased this one after reading all of the reviews. When the box came tonight, I had her help me open it up. She was immediately taken with it. I said "this is your own potty". As soon as we had it set up, she sat right down on it. When the music came on for her going potty, she got the biggest smile on her face and started clapping. She proceeded to go potty 3 more times tonight!!! The hardest thing may be getting her off of it. She also likes the handle for flushing, as that has always been her favorite part. I would highly recommend; the beauty is that it is the closest to a real potty as you can get.
Still not fully utilized, but very promising February 13, 2010 AMM (Baltimore, MD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this for our then-18 month-old son to get him accustomed to the idea of potty training. He's nearly 21 months old now and still hasn't actually used the toilet, but he always sits on it when one of us goes to the bathroom. So, we'll see how the next few months go. At least the songs are catchy!
