Cute, but we never used it. September 23, 2008 This was cute and my kids like it...to play with. they dont't use it for potty. The pot is too large to sit on to cause the kids' behinds to sink in.
Pretty good for us! September 4, 2008 My son has had no pinching issues and is almost 3. The thing I mainly use this for is for him to sit on and watch TV and hopefully go potty. He will sit there for a long time and has no issues with the size. He is 36 pounds too, so he's not super tiny.
It doesn't latch, but it hasn't been an issue for us. I love the idea of putting the one part on the potty to make the large potty fit him better....and the base will be a nice stool--it has great non-slip grips.
My 2 year old daughter really likes this potty April 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I started potty training my 2 year old daughter and picked out this potty for two reasons: One, it has Dora on it and she LOVES anything Dora so I thought it would get her excited about using it. Two, the simplicity of the design. Its simple to put together, no lid, and when their done doing their business, you simply pull out the cup dump it in the toilette and then rins out with some water.
The only negitive about this toilette is that because the base of the potty becomes a step stool once your child moves on to the big potty, the potty part just sits on top of the upside down stool. It does not snap or lock into place. But that really hasnt proved to be much of a problem.
Bottom line, my daughter loves this potty and thats what matters.
Cute but not worth it November 2, 2007 My son loves Deigo so I thought this would be a good choice to start learning to use the potty. Its obvious when he sits on it that he is not fully comfortable and wont sit longer than a minute. Its really small and narrow, is hard plastic and the green "pot" slides and seems to pinch. It is also a little unstable and tilts when he tries to get up from it. I am currently looking for another product and will use this for a stool.
Clearly not kid or parent tested! September 29, 2007 The concept is good for the 3 in 1, but the step stool portion does not lock into the potty ring base. So child knocks it over easily and a pain if you have to move it.
