Product Description Boynton is back! Joining Barnyard Dance! and Birthday Monsters!, here is Pajama Time! a good-night book with the irrepressible language, the inimitable illustrations, the irresistible cast of characters only Sandra Boynton could create. A jump-roping chicken and a pig on a swing. A Scottie in plaid pajamas and an elephant in a fuzzy one-piece with feet. And in sing-along nuttiness reminiscent of Barnyard Dance!, it's time to head to bed-to the beat: Pajammy to the left. Pajammy to the right. Jamma jamma jamma jamma P!J! Everybody's wearing them for dancing tonight. Jamma jamma jamma jamma P!J! Then the next morning, Hey! Wake Up!: Yawn. Stretch. Touch your toes. Shimmy shimmy shimmy, Wiggle your nose. Just watch out for the broccoli stew. (Ew.)

Least favorite Boynton book December 18, 2008 We like many of Boynton's books. The stories are cute, the phrases are catchy, and our son loves the pictures. Pajama Time, however, is the exception. The words aren't sing-songy and interesting like the others, they just feel empty. There is no story here, just a silly song. We don't enjoy reading it at all-- I just can't get into reading "jammy, jammy, jammy, jammy, p, j" After a couple tries, we don't read this book at bedtime anymore. There are so many other great bedtime book options out there. I'm giving it two stars rather than one because the pictures are as good as ever.
Another Great Bedtime Story October 12, 2008 Sandra Boynton does it again. She knows the routine, she sets it up perfectly and bedtime is easier because of her efforts. Our kids and grandkids loved these stories in a poetic rhyme. Now we are giving them out as Godparents to our neat friends we help mentor along life's way. Wonderful books!
My favorite Sandra Boynton September 8, 2008 I absolutely have loved reading this so much to our two older grandchildren that I just had to order another for the third one! Can't say enough about the concept, rhythms, characters, etc. For me it even tops Barnyard Dance, which is my other Boynton favorite, although the two have much in common.
Fun and festive book for sharing at bedtime! August 10, 2008 This book is wonderfully written, as with most of Sandra Boynton's works. The illustrations are very entertaining, and the story is fun and festive. I have been reading this to my son since he was born, and he especially enjoys this book now at 3 years old. One of our top 5 favorites!
One of my son's favorite books June 4, 2008 My son absolutely loves this book. It is such a cute book.. I think Sandra Boynton does son an amazing job with all her books!
