4 out of 5 stars Cute book, love the touch and feel   October 31, 2008
The story is cute and the touch and feel books help me keep my toddler interested in the story and the words we're reading. I can read about the "dog" and they he touches the dog. It gives him something to interact with the story and something for us to do together. No more sound books for me, just touch and feel. What a pleasure.

4 out of 5 stars Nice book   June 27, 2008
Book is colorful, has some nice photos inside. I find the text too difficult for the level of toddler/baby who needs to learn how to speak

5 out of 5 stars My Two Daughters Love This Book   April 28, 2008
This is a wonderful first book for babies. My oldest daughter loved her first copy so much that it fell apart because of so much use. I ordered two more copies (one for her -she is now 28 months old) and one for her younger sister (14 months old).

4 out of 5 stars Good book for a range of ages   February 7, 2008
I'm not the biggest baby einstein fan overall, but I think this book is actually quite good. I like there are real pictures of animals, in nice full color. There are also animations, but they are small, and secondary. What makes the book especially nice is that there are several ways to read it. Babies can just look at the photos.. or you can add the name of the animal which is large on each facing page. Then there is one slightly smaller font sentence, so when the child is a bit older you can read the name and that one sentence. Then there are a couple easy facts, so when they have a longer attention span, they can listen to the whole page, plus learn some things. Finally, the words are mostly easy enough to be an early reader when the child is ready for that. We've definitely gotten our money's worth out of this one, and I love watching my 5 year old now read it to her one year old sister.

5 out of 5 stars Educational   January 21, 2008
This very cute book has pictures of real "neighborhood animals" and is a good educational book for little ones. My 14 mo. old enjoys it every time I read it to her. It has approx. 8-10 animals inside and also has questions for your little one to answer about each picture. Also lets you know more in detail about each animal.
