Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
One of the first books in the series to focus on a general environment rather than a specific geographic location, this vividly illustrated boardbook follows a multicultural group of people during a trip to the zoo. Designed to soothe children before bedtime with rhythmic language while instilling an early appreciation for the wonders of the natural world, this book features adults and children experiencing all that the zoo has to offer and guides readers through both the passage of a single day and the four seasons.

5 out of 5 stars Great Post zoo book   April 21, 2008

Does your kid like animals or have they been to the zoo? If so this is the book to read to your kids, there are so many different animals in this book and helps our daughter identify each one. We love that it shows so many of the animals she has seen at the zoo and it makes her want to go that much more often. This, like other books in the series is a book that can be short (just read the words) or can be long by asking questions about the animals and what are they doing and you could even talk about what they eat, etc.
