Great all around book for those little Thomas fans!!! November 12, 2008
We got this as a birthday present for my 3 year old and have read(or sang it) every night since... and the songs are great... not long, very quick and easy to sing... and the pop-ups on every page are fabulous- and even better are VERY sturdy. My little boy likes to open and close the doors to the engines on the last page every night to say good night to all three and I am pleased to say that they have held up to the wear and tear of him "playing" with the book.. I highly recommend this book- we have really enjoyed it!!
 Lovely pop-ups, songs not railway sounds January 31, 2008
This is a pretty good book for Thomas fans - the illustrations and pop-ups are beautifully done. I was expecting railway sound effects but each button plays a different familiar tune to which new Thomas-themed words are set. I'm not a great fan of electronic toy "music" and would have preferred sounds like engines puffing or horns blowing, but it actually works quite well and my son seems to like it.

My daughter asked Santa for a Thomas book with buttons. This is the only one I could find, at sort of the last minute. I'm not familiar with Thomas, but she loves it. Like all pop-up books, I'm not sure how durable it will be.
