I think this is a great toy. It is so hard to find simple toys..we are bombarding our kids with technical toys from day 1 and they expect that every toy must do something rather than the kid doing something wiht the toy. These balls are the perfect size for little hands & great colors. I bought a second set for Grandma's house!

the different textures and all are pretty neat, but they just don't hold attention at home when there are better toys around. These are good for the baby to play with when we are in the car though. Very portable.
