Product Description This pink pig is an infant toy that exposes babies to counting, colors, animals and sizes through the friendly role play of a piggy bank theme. In the Learning Mode, baby can drop one of the 10 colorful coins into the generous slot on the top to hear musical rewards as the Piggy Bank counts for each coin dropped. Press the "nose" for friendly sounds and a song about counting, colors, and big and small. In the Music Mode, each coin drop will play one of five short ditties. Press the "nose" for fun sounds and an additional song. In either mode, baby can open the clear door for music as the coins tumble out and the tail spins for additional play. Requires 3 "AAA" batteries (included).

I Dig This Pig! July 25, 2010 H.B. (Texas) I purchased this for our daughter just before her first birthday. She is now 15 months old and still loves playing with it. The colors of the product are depicted accurately in the picture on this page. The pig has a counting mode and a singing mode; neither are obnoxiously loud or annoying as many toddler toys can be. The pig also reacts when you push its nose by oinking or singing. The tail spins, but this does not elicit any sort of response from the toy. If you have the pig in counting mode, it will count each coin as your child drops it in. However, if your child waits a little too long, it will start the counting over at 1 even if there are coins already in the bank. It also can be set to singing mode. It is a great toy to teach colors, counting, and hand-eye coordination (your child has to manipulate the coin and their hand in just the right way to push it through the slot). As you can see in the picture, the coins appear to come in two different sizes. The larger coins are ribbed on the edges, while the smaller ones are smooth. In person, however, the coins are not drastically different in size. Others have commented that the door to the bank is flimsy and comes off easily; it does indeed feel flimsy, but ours has so far stayed intact. Overall, this toy is a fantastic buy. I highly recommend it.
Love This Little Piggy! June 29, 2010 Karen L. Banick I bought the original version of this 4 years ago for my grandson and he loved it and played with it constantly until the dogs decide to chew it. :(
When his sister came along, I purchased this newer version and she is equally having so much fun with it. At one year old, she will sit as long as 15 minutes putting the coins in, having me empty it, and then starting the task all over again. The newer version actually counts out loud as the coins are put in the slot! I really, really like this toy.
Great toy for multiple ages June 22, 2010 K. Schwartz (Iowa) Both my 4 year old and 1 year old come back and back to this toy. They enjoy feeding lots of other things through the slot or putting things inside the "cage." Also, it's not overly annoying like some kids toys with music. A great toy the kids actually keep going back to.
Love This May 29, 2010 Amanda L. Davis (Adrian,MI USA) I like this toy a lot. It is very cute and teaches numbers. My daughter would like to play with real money, but the coins are too small, so I bought her this. She is very happy playing with it.
Great for developing fine motor skills May 24, 2010 J. A. Miller (Georgia) I bought this for my one year old. She loves it and enjoys pressing the piggy's nose for music. She tries really hard to put the coins in the bank but is not able to yet. This will be a toy that she will be able to use to develop her fine motor skills and counting as she gets older. I can see this toy lasting for several years.
