Nice belt adjuster! August 28, 2010 T. Lee (Louisville, KY) Got these for my explorer sport and am satisfied. They're plastic, not metal. 'Nuff said.
Small and Simple ... my kind of product August 12, 2010 An Engineer (Minneapolis, MN) This is a nice small and simple to use strap adjuster. I was very pleased with the ease of use and the simple fact that it works. The plastic it was made out of is not to brittle with has some flexibility. No hidden gotchas here.
Happy Shopping!
It works well. August 10, 2010 Carl B. Pepersack After trying other types of seat belt adjusters to make my wife more comfortable in the car, we found that this one does the job.
It works August 6, 2010 S. B. Mote (Tampa, FL USA) The seat belt strap adjuster was originally purchased for my mom because I was worried that she never wears a seatbelt due to it choking her. It does what it's supposed to do for the most part, but I when I tried one of them for myself, I have one small issue with it; the slide-in part for the seatbelt will slide out with driving over time. It should have been made with a more secure "hooked" part on the end, I guess you could say. But it's tolerable.
It works, but won't last forever August 6, 2010 Desert Rose (Oman) I am 5'2" tall and could not adjust my shoulder belt low enough to prevent it rubbing on my neck. This hard plastic device worked well to slide the belt further to the left over my hips and was easy to install and hook up each time I drove. It lasted about 3 years before it suddenly snapped when I went to use it last month. I live in an extremely hot climate and my car is often parked in the sun, so perhaps the heat took its toll. I just reordered this adjuster (2 of them, to have a spare), because I was pleased enough with its performance. It has a rounded-rectangular shape, so you may have to move it around so that the corners do not poke you (if you are very heavy around the middle, this might be more of a problem for you.) It's cheap enough that it's worth a try if your seat belt rubs your neck as mine does.
