The changing pad is made of durable, comfort foam that feels both substantial and soft. The foam is covered by a quilted vinyl layer that is moisture and stain resistant--an obvious necessity in changing pads--but when put to the test, the contoured changing pad beaded moisture and wiped clean with a pass of a cloth. The three-inch beveled sides keep baby in a comfortable and compliant position while changing a diaper. The security strap buckles over the torso to keep baby from rolling and affords peace of mind when turning to grab some wipes. The pad is standard-sized--it generally fits most changing tables, or it can be used on any counter or surface. For stationary use, the changing pad can be screwed to the wall, or take advantage of the non-slipping bottom for use on any surface. The no-skid bottom works exactly as advertised. The contoured changing pad is large enough to accommodate baby until she is a toddler (birth to 24 months). The standard sizing of the pad also means that most generic changing pad covers fit, or you can extend the life of this pad with the Baby Comfort ultra plush changing pad covers (not included). The Velboa fabric--you know, the soft, almost-fur like synthetic fabric that is machine-washable--of the Basic Comfort changing pad covers is also stain resistant, and the covers fit this changing pad like a glove. Something happened to baby before birth. Am trying to return as never used or opened from shower. Appears real nice but BIG. Measure space.
BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PURCHASE WITH AMAZON. AMAZON SELLS IT, AMAZON TAKES YOUR MONEY. BUT IF YOU NEED TO RETURN IT, YOU CAN GO THROUGH SO MUCH WORK AND TIME AND EFFORTS, ONLY TO HAVE TO PERHAPS MAIL IT WITH PERMISSION TO THE "REAL SELLER" WHICH IS SOMEONE OTHER THAN AMAZON. IT IS REAL HELL TO GO THRU TO RETURN SOME ITEMS. I will never do it again, stick with the books.

I just got this for my 13 month old daughter. We had been using a flat pad in her crib. For a while we have been putting up as best as possible with the wiggling and rolling over while changing dirty diapers. After using a changing table in the mall with a "seatbelt" I decided we needed a new pad for her (plus her other one has little holes in it from being washed so many times). I really like how this one helps her relax during diaper changes and keeps her from rolling over and smearing poop all over everything. Great for wiggly ones!
Easy to use August 29, 2008
This is a great changing pad. The contours on the side keep the baby from being able to roll around, making for easiest clean-up if the baby has a messy diaper. It is extra long (34 inches), allowing for baby to have extra head and feet room as he/she grows. If you buy this product, be sure to buy covers that have adequate length to accomodate this changing pad, though. I use the ultra plush ones, and they fit well.

The pad is nice and thick with a waterproof covering and good non-skid backing. The boppy changing pad cover fits perfectly.
Changing Pad Just Perfect!!! July 19, 2008
We bought this for our grandchildren when they come to visit. It fits perfectly on top of a small dresser and we have a nice comfortable place to change diapers, etc.
