the best all in one crib! October 22, 2008
I'm soooooo happy with this crib. It looks great and is reasonably easy to assemble. The pecan is pretty color -darker than your average oak, but not as dark as the cherry. It arrived immediately after ordering and I have never seen anything packaged so thoroughly. Nothing was damaged. This crib has two bottom drawers, three front drawers, and three shelves towards the back. While the mattress height is not adjustable, it is not necessary with the semi drop down side -it take both hand to drop so it won't drop on its own. After reading a bunch of horror crib asssembly horror stories, the assembly on this crib was reasonable. It took some time and there aren't any words, but the manual had self explanatory pictures and labeled part bags. I could almost do it myself 28 weeks pregnant. It just takes some time, patience, and there are a few pieces where you need strength to wiggle the parts together. The finish of the crib could be a little more even, but nothing that you would notice if you weren't examining it. Overall I am extremely happy with it. Oh and you have to buy the changing pad separately on ebay -just google 'daphne changing pad' as it is a smaller than average changing pad. This is the best all in one space saving crib out there -I know the simplicity brand ones are cheaper but they have had way too many recalls!
