Product Description NasalClear is a new battery operated nasal aspirator. It quickly, easily, and safely clears your baby's stuffy nose and helps the baby breathe more freely. The NasalClear aspirator provides you with suction that is stronger than that of a traditional manual aspirator, yet gentle enough to use safely and comfortably on your newborn or toddler. Battery operation lets you control the suction, so that you maintain the suction or release it as needed. NasalClear includes 2 different tips to accommodate different shaped nostrils and a variety of congestion conditions. The tips are made of soft silicone, making them comfortable for children of all ages. Although NasalClear has greater suction power than a manual aspirator, it is still gentle enough to use on newborns. It comes apart for easy and thorough cleaning and is dishwasher safe. NasalClear includes a plastic collection cup that helps you evaluate your baby's level of congestion. Also, the aspirator plays 12 different children?s tunes to help distract the baby while in use. Requires 2-AA batteries (not included).

The musical gadget stinking... November 22, 2008 Cleanoz is much better, I tried three different aspirators and the blue dolphin is the only one that works. Bebesounds is just a musical gadget, without suction, and it's impossible to clean it correctly. After some days it stinks. So I have no idea if my daughter hate it because it stinks or due to the horrible sound. Don't waste your money with such bad toy.
Works Great! November 14, 2008 Those pump style(the old way)bulb asp. just really pissed off my baby and didn't suck anything out. There is a bit of a learning curve with this battery operated one but after you get the hang of it....WOW! You can clear nasal passages in seconds. You can actually see the "debris" in the little cup. At first I thought the music was not needed but that also helps keep the baby quiet. I love mine and had it for over a year and would not go without it during cold season. It is also very helpful if you child has reflux and gets milk in their nose.(It will take it right out.)
They now started selling this at walmart. It makes a great gift.
aspirator October 13, 2008 great product. hate the bulb, as does my daughter, but this she will tolerate. used it on my infant son and although the noise startled him at first, his nose was cleaned out before he had time to process whether he was upset or not. very effective and easy to clean.
They should issue these at the hospital! September 23, 2008 This is the BEST product ever! My son has terrible allergies and is often congested. Trying to suction him with the bulb suction is like wrestling a tiger! My sister in law told me about this, so I bought it. I am SOOOOO glad I did! I now order this for all baby showers I go to, because most parents haven't even heard about this product! My son no longer screeches like a howler monkey when we suction his nose- he will actually bring us the suction and tip his nose up to let you know he feels congested and wants to be suctioned!
Excellent as long as you know how best to use it! August 14, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Some of the reviewers are saying that the suction is not strong enough for thick mucus. This is not mucus you should be trying "suck" from your infant's head regardless, until you've loosened it up. A quick spray or dripping of something like "Little Noses" or "Ocean" saline nasal spray will do the job of loosening up mucus nicely and quickly. Apply a few drops into each nasal passage with baby lying down, let it work for a minute or two, and then suck away using the wide tip rather than the long thin tip. The wide tip forms a better seal over baby's nose and is not as invasive as the longer thinner one. This is a great product for sure!! Soooo much better than the bulbs of old. Quicker to use, so less torture for your baby and when used properly, it gets out so much more mucus than a manual bulb.
