I am very happy with my purchase, it sets up or packs up in a snap, no tools required. It folds down very small, comes with its own fitted sheet and carrying case, an excellent addition to our travel accessories. purchased the portable cot as an alternative to the room of my 9 year old daughter if she has a friend sleep over. She learned to set it up all by herslef. , and I liked the idea of the cot being so low to the ground for safety reasons. My daughter is a roudy little one, and I felt an inflatable mattress would not last 2 days in the same room with her. It shipped earlier than we expected and is lightweight enough for a young girl to move around and set up by herself, with supervision of course. It seems to be rather sturdy and able to take some abuse; it says not do jump on it printed right on the canvas and my son leaped onto it as soon as it was set up. She won't be able to make a habit of this, but at least it survived its first day in our house.

We use this cot on trips, and it has been great for 3+ years. My son will be 5 soon, and he is getting too tall for it now. But that is expected. The cot has been with us on at least 10 trips - across the country, local and even to Mexico. It has been checked in luggage many times, and still everything works fine. We usually add a blanket under the sheet for extra comfort for my son, and he loves this "vacation bed".
I would buy it again.

SLOWEST DELIVERY YET! Love the cot, but hate how long it took!... I am VERY glad that I ordered this cot WAY IN ADVANCE! Because, it took a month and a half for it to FINALLY get here. Nothing else, that I have ordered through Amazon, has taken this long. Now I notice that there is a note (that wasn't there before) saying, "ships within 4 to 6 weeks". As for the cot, my 2 year old daughter LOVES it, and so do I! I would give an "excellent" (5 stars), but because it took so very long, that is why I only gave "fair" (3 stars). It IS a FABULOUS travel toddler bed; it is easily portable, very compact, a breeze to set up, seams comfortable for my daughter, and ultimately I am VERY pleased with this cot... I would (and have) recommend it to others.

Before I purchased the My Cot, I read the reviews about it. Reviewers said their children complained it was uncomfortable because of the horizontal support bar that ran thru the middle. I was concerned but figured I'd put a thick blanket over the cot. When it arrived I was so happy to see that the cot has been redesigned without the support bar! The support now is reenforced fabric so it's very comfortable.
My 3 year old son loves it! it's also extremely easy to set up! I'd highly recommend.

Very easy to set up - just pops open. Light and folds small. But the toddler complained that the strap supporting the middle made an uncomfortable lump. Still, it was great for a car trip and she slept ok on it.
