 good even for young kids as a toy December 27, 2008
i gave this to my 5-yr-old who loves using the doctor's when we're at the clinic. she recommended this one because of ease of use, durability, and the low price. i totally agree! he loves listening to everyone's heartbeat and wears it around all the time.

Great scope for the price. It looks OK done, a little heavy and akward to carry on the neck but you can hear stuff well. I am a medical student and I am happy with the purchase.
