 waste for waste December 30, 2008
My wife bought one. Baby girl doesn't know the difference of warm wipes or room temperature wipes. Big waste of money initially, big waste on electricity.

We researched wipe warmers a few months ago and settled on the Munchkin Warm Glob Wipe Warmer. We have had no problem with the wipes turning dark or drying out. The glow light is not bright, but that is the point. The lid stays closed--if you forget to put flip the closures, I could see how the wipes would dry out. Great product!

I received this wipe warmer as a gift for my first daughter, and it was one of the best gifts I received! My daughter always cried and wet all over the place whenever I used a cold wipe, but she was so much calmer when I started using the warm wipes. I had none of the problems other reviewers describe for wipe warmers. Never smelled moldy, the unit never leaked, and my wipes never dried out. Whenever I refilled the dispenser, I would just pour an 8 oz. cup of water over the top of the wipes themselves. The wipes were usually moist, even when I got to the bottom, and if they started getting a little dry, I just added a little more water. I did usually use the thicker Huggies wipes. This wipe warmer lasted for about a year with my first daughter, and then I passed it on to my sister to use for her baby, which has lasted another 9 months. I am buying another one of these for my second baby. The only reason I am buying a new one, is that the hinges of the unit are now broken, due to so much use, and two toddlers playing with the lid of the dispenser, which is understandable. I would definately recommend this wipe warmer!!!!

WOW!! What a wonderful idea! As a senior citizen I could never understand how parents could use the wipes...they were so cold for the poor infant's delicate area. My son and his wife turned me onto this product and it is the perfect gift for baby showers.
Dries out the wipes September 25, 2008
My review is pretty straight forward. The wipes dry out and they aren't very warm either. I stopped using it after only 3 days.
