Product Description NasalClear is a new battery operated nasal aspirator. It quickly, easily, and safely clears your baby's stuffy nose and helps the baby breathe more freely. The NasalClear aspirator provides you with suction that is stronger than that of a traditional manual aspirator, yet gentle enough to use safely and comfortably on your newborn or toddler. Battery operation lets you control the suction, so that you maintain the suction or release it as needed. NasalClear includes 2 different tips to accommodate different shaped nostrils and a variety of congestion conditions. The tips are made of soft silicone, making them comfortable for children of all ages. Although NasalClear has greater suction power than a manual aspirator, it is still gentle enough to use on newborns. It comes apart for easy and thorough cleaning and is dishwasher safe. NasalClear includes a plastic collection cup that helps you evaluate your baby's level of congestion. Also, the aspirator plays 12 different children?s tunes to help distract the baby while in use. Requires 2-AA batteries (not included).

A must have for anyone with a baby! December 18, 2008 My son is currently 1 year and a month. I bought this about six weeks ago because I was frustrated with having to wrestle my son into letting me clean his nose out when he had a cold. Now I use this almost every night before bed whether he has had a runny nose or not. My husband even makes fun of me for how excited I am to use it. It really cleans his nose even when it seems there isn't much in there. Some nights I haven't gotten around to cleaning the collector part so I won't use it. The next day I can almost always tell a difference. I won't go into the details. When my son gets his hands on the electronic aspirator he will put it up to his nose himself. He understands what it is for and will let me use it on him with little fuss. You really do have to clean it after every use because it will get clogged. There are four parts to clean. These parts disconnect from the electrical handle so they can be cleaned easily. I use a nipple brush to clean the part that goes in the nose and the white part that shoots stuff into the clear cup. The cup, which is the collector can be cleaned with a cloth. The fourth part is the white ring that sits between the white part and the collector cup. If it is not in place the aspirator will not work properly. You can tell it is in place by the way the cup screws on to the white part. It will feel stiffer than when the white ring is not there. Bebesounds includes two different options for the part that goes into the nose. There is a short and stubby option and a long and thin option. I generally use the stubby one. I have tried to use the long and thin one but it doesn't seem to collect as well. The only trouble I have had with this machine, which is really minor, is that sometimes I have difficulty getting the collector (all 4 four) parts to fit snuggly with the electronic part. This has not seemed to affect the performance and if I try to push the collector on at a certain angle it will go on snuggly. If this contraption breaks tomorrow I will still feel like I have had my moneys worth. I plan on buying this for my next baby shower gift.
You just have to try it!!! December 16, 2008 I should I purchased one sooner! I bought it for my 3 year old nephew who has not yet grasped the concept of blowing his nose therefore leading to head/chest congestion and constantly staying sick... Since I received the nasal aspirator, of which he ENJOYS using, he has yet to be sick and congested. We are now happy campers, thanks to BEBESOUNDS NASAL ASPIRATOR!
good music toy, poor nasal aspirator December 5, 2008 the music is Ok, in fact we use it only as a toy. My baby didn't manage to get used with the sound aspirator is doing. And the power is to low for what is intended.
The musical gadget stinking... November 22, 2008 Cleanoz is much better, I tried three different aspirators and the blue dolphin is the only one that works. Bebesounds is just a musical gadget, without suction, and it's impossible to clean it correctly. After some days it stinks. So I have no idea if my daughter hate it because it stinks or due to the horrible sound. Don't waste your money with such bad toy.
Works Great! November 14, 2008 Those pump style(the old way)bulb asp. just really pissed off my baby and didn't suck anything out. There is a bit of a learning curve with this battery operated one but after you get the hang of it....WOW! You can clear nasal passages in seconds. You can actually see the "debris" in the little cup. At first I thought the music was not needed but that also helps keep the baby quiet. I love mine and had it for over a year and would not go without it during cold season. It is also very helpful if you child has reflux and gets milk in their nose.(It will take it right out.)
They now started selling this at walmart. It makes a great gift.
