This purchase was for my newborn infant...the weight says up to 22lbs but does not give a beginning weight. I was expecting my 4th baby and previously had 9lb. babies so my thinking was that this would work from newborn up to 22lbs. However when I received the Kushies diaper wrap, I could tell by looking they were not going to fit a newborn no matter the birth weight.
Fortunately for me I have a 15 month old whom they fit (although not too much longer). On him they tend to leak occasionally in the front at the top.
I have used the Kooshies AIO diaper (they changed their name to Kushies in 2003) with no complaints whatsoever. So I expected the same from this diaper wrap. I must say I am a bit disappointed.
The positive side is they wash up nicely and dry very fast. They have already proven to hold up much better than "plastic pants". But I think the next purchase will be the AIO's.
