The first thing to note about Graco's pack `n play is that it is larger than many playards. This colorful, mesh-sided pen unfolds to a 38" x 38" square, rather than the rectangular shape of most others on the market. While this equates to needing more space, it also means that baby is provided with a bigger (and sturdier) area to play in. The playard's stability comes from a four-footed metal frame, which-along with the four corner feet-gives it eight points of contact with the ground.  | | The included bag makes storing and carrying easy. | Setup takes one person only minutes, from snapping the frame in place to securing the rigid, padded-top floor (cutely decorated with a fun bug pattern) with the Velcro fasteners. Roomy, so easy to set up & take down, durable December 1, 2008
I purchased this playpen because the pack & play is going to be handed down to my newborn. The new playpen is great for my son who turns one tomorrow. It is sturdy and very easy to clean. I'm 7 months pregnant & was able to set up & take down the thing in just a few minutes (like 3 mins to be exact). We packed the playpen up to take to a friends house for Thanksgiving dinner. It was so nice to keep my son contained while we ate!
Best pack and Play EVER! November 25, 2008
My mother in law had an extra of this pack and play from previous grandchildren. We love it! I keep it in my trunk because we use it anytime we go anywhere. My mom recently purchased this one through Amazon with free shipping! It arrived the very next day and it's adorable. This one is so much nicer than the other (more expensive) one we have because our son who is now 15 months has much more room in it and the bottom is much more comfortable to sleep on. It's not as hard as our other pack and play. I really think this is a MUST HAVE for all moms!

This playpen is both baby and parent oriented. The bright colors, materials, and space are ideal for youngsters. And the ease of set-up and cost is great for parents and/or grandparents!!

First it's Graco, so if you know anything about baby items you know the quality is there and that they stand behind there products. The colors are bright, the play items on the four side are fun and it's a big square not like the play and packs, so he has plenty of room to move around. But at the same time this folds downs and packs up like a play and pack. My son loves to play in this, I can put him in it to play while I am close by doing my chores and know that if I leave the area he is safe.
Fun, safe haven for my little one November 22, 2008
I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants a safe place for their child to play while they are doing housework. It is square and provides more play area than the traditional rectangular pack 'n play. One of the unexpected perks was that my daughter taught herself how to pull herself up into a standing position in this playpen. Next thing I knew my husband was encouraging her to walk along the perimeter. That is one of her favorite games.
If you want to make this pack 'n play a success I have several recommendations.
1. Introduce your baby to it when they are young so they get used to its confines. We first began putting our daughter in it when she was 4 months old for 5 minutes a day. She is now 8 months and spends much longer periods playing in it. She also asks to be put into it.
2. Encourage your baby to explore the toys on the sides. My daughter loves grabbing and crinkling the wings.
3. Play with your baby while they are in the pack 'n play. We like peek a boo.
4. Have special playpen only toys. Also make sure they are soft so if they fall on them they can't be hurt.
5. Location, Location, Location. Ours is strategically located in our family room where she can see me while I work in the kitchen. It is also next to a window where she can enjoy the outside view.
6. DO NOT use this as a sleep area. This is a play area. You should have a separate sleep area. Don't confuse your child.
7. Attitude. If you view this playpen as a "trap" or "jail." You'll never use it. Remember, the purpose of the playpen is to provide your child a SAFE place to play when you are distracted.
