 Too Small! November 3, 2008
I ordered the full-term size, blue Gum Drop Pacifiers in Natural Scent. My husband commented that our 8-month old could nearly fit the whole pacifier in his mouth. This is a full-term pacifier, it should be bigger. So now I have 5 pacies I can't use. I did like the shape and do let him use it sometimes while in full supervision. He seems to like them, but he ends up gumming on it more than sucking it.

I bought these pacifiers because my son really liked the soothies brand he got in the NICU but they always seemed very bulky and heavy for him. He would often spit them out because of that. I tried the gumdrops because the nipple is the same but the construction of the shield is more contoured and lighter. He likes them just as much as the soothies and it seems like he latches on to them more easily.

My daughter wanted to constantly use me as her pacifier and I tried every pacifier in the store but she wouldn't latch on to any of them for more than a few seconds. I read the reviews and decided to order a few of these so that maybe I could get a few hours of sleep instead of having her 'nurse' off me all night. They worked wonders! These are the only pacifiers she will use. They are lightweight, which is great b/c they're less likely to wake her up by falling out of her mouth once she's asleep. Plus they are very bendable so if she is asleep on her side they won't put too much pressure on her little face. Thanks Hawaii Medical!
 great for soothie lovers September 10, 2008
My daughter wouldn't sleep without a pacifier but wouldn't take any pacifier but the Soothie. She loved the Soothie but had a hard time keeping it in her mouth and would cry if it fell out. The Gumdrop is the best of both worlds. It feels like the Soothie but is shaped like any other pacifier so it actually stays in. After a long search for the perfect Binky, we found it in the Gumdrop!

The Best Pacifier Ever!! August 29, 2008
I love these pacifiers. I used them with my daughter and now I had to get blue for my son. These are the best pacifiers that you could use. They aren't too big for newborn babies mouths or too small for an older baby. My daughter was 5 pounds and 6 ounces at birth and these were perfect for her.
