4 out of 5 stars Love it, bought two   September 5, 2010
H. Acuay (Portland, OR USA)
My child was frightened of being in the big bathtub when she was very young, so this inflatable duck tub made her feel more comfortable and secure. I thought it was great. I've had two - the first one I replaced because it got a hole (it was my fault, I was dragging it around on the ground during a house move) and I had lost the patches they send with the duck. I bought a new one. My child is just shy of two years old and we still use it. At 25 lbs and 32.5 inches, she still fits in it with her bath toys. I like it because it saves water (compared to filling tub), and time (less time to fill duck + less cleaning time). I periodically spray it with a Clorox Bleach mixture and then hang it to dry. I didn't realize until I got the second one that squeezing the beak causes it to "quack quack." So my first duck (which we had for a year) might have been defective, hence the 4 star instead of 5 star review. I wish they made this in a slightly larger size so that my daughter could continue to use it when she's bigger.

5 out of 5 stars Best baby travel bath tub!!!   August 23, 2010
TiffanysMom
I never write reviews, but just had to write one for the Munchkin Inflatable Duck tub. This has been one of the best baby items we have ever purchased!! We bought this tub over a year ago - my daughter is 17 months now, and we still use the tub - she absolutely loves it. The tub itself is a perfect size, fits into a standard size bath tub beautifully and the quacking sound is so much fun for her. This tub has been everywhere with us - ski trips, Florida, the beach house, Nana's house, etc. Easily fits into any travel bag and takes no time to inflate. The "white hot" spot is great to indicate whether the water is too hot - and my daughter is so comfortable in the tub. Do not hesitate to purchase, you will not be disappointed.

1 out of 5 stars It sucks   July 23, 2010

I have totally bought four Munchkin inflatable safety duck tub. They all leaked at the same place (under the beak) after several months of usage. Wondering othe parents have the same problem?

5 out of 5 stars Soft, safe, and entertaining!   April 30, 2010

I had one of these Ducky Tubs when my oldest (now nearly 7) was an infant. I felt it was a really safe and soft "in between" tub from the baby tub and the big tub. The tub is just the right size for those that are learning to sit on their own and the duck quack is engaging. I also love the "HOT" warning on the bottom. Was so excited that it was still around with my latest child :-)

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for bath time!   April 30, 2010

This tub is perfect! It has grippies (whatever they are really called, it doesnt matter) on the bottom of the tub to help hold baby in place, and you can attempt to tilt baby's head back on the tail of the duck to rinse her hair (good luck, my daughter doesnt let me do that much but the option is still there :D )
No, the tub doesnt fit under my faucet but all I have to do is turn on the shower and fill the tub that way. No problem whatsoever.
The HOT temperature gauge is a nice touch, however I go by my own opinion of what is an acceptable temp for my daughter.
Overall, the tub is great! It's a terrific buy and I recommend it to everyone!
