Keep children and pets safe from openings in banisters and balconies. Kid Shield is a clear shatterproof plastic sheet in a continuous roll. It is engineered for a scratch free finish and has a protective film that is removed after installation. It is 33" high and 15' long, a 5' roll is also available. All hardware included for easy installation.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Easy to install does the job.......   September 15, 2008
Great for outdated/older banisters. Easy to install, and does what it's intended to do. Keep your little one safe from accidental fall. If your child would intentially ram/run into it spend the money updating rails to code, otherwise it is sturdy enough to hold a toddler leaning against it.

I secured ours in a number of areas at every rail vs skipping a rail. You could have to purchase more zip ties from local hardware store, we didn't have too, but you could.

4 out of 5 stars Serves its purpose   August 31, 2008
This product has worked well so far for my one-year-old. It is a little flimsy and I hope he does not figure out how to pull it down any time soon. The only problem was that I did not realize you are supposed to have 6 extra inches on the ends, but fortunately I had ordered just enough.
