1 out of 5 stars I wouldn't buy again   November 15, 2008
I didn't like this product from the day I received it. The biggest complaint I have is that, although it did provide good support for my back and knees, leaning forward and resting my elbows was awkward. The seat needed to be closer to the arm-rest. As it is, I felt I was leaning too far forward, making it uncomfortable. This was with the seat pushed as far forward as possible. So, I basically used it to sit on and not to lean on. For the record, I am an average-sized female. Since I just used it to sit on, I could have bought something just as effective which didn't take up so much space. The second complaint I have is that I never understood why the gel pads weren't permanently attached. My kids loved to take them off and throw them in the bathwater. I eventually super-glued them in place. Save your money. I wish I had returned it as soon as I got it and forfeited the shipping charges.

1 out of 5 stars Great idea- horrible new design   November 2, 2008
I had the original design and loved it. After my 250 pound husband sat on it I needed to buy a new one. I found that the only one available is the new improved one. I disagree with the improved part. The theory is still great, but the new design is horrible. It won't stay together no matter what I do or how many times I put it back together. The gel cushions fall off and the seat won't stay in. They had a good thing,I wish they didn't mess with it! I hate it!

3 out of 5 stars Better than wrecking my knees on the tile floor   July 25, 2007
I find the TubSider is comfortable to kneel on and to rest my arms on while I am lifting and lowering my baby into the tub but those comfortable gel pads never stay in place and I'm always put them back which is a pain. Also, the TubSider folds up so it can rest against the tub but it still takes up space which can be a problem in a small bathroom.

4 out of 5 stars Love the seat   June 27, 2007
The seat portion has done wonders for my back and it's great to have the padding for my knees, but it's irritating that the pads aren't attached and they continue to move. My daughter also likes to grab up the pads for the elbows. Overall if you can deal with these minor things, than it's great for posture, knees, and back.

4 out of 5 stars Really helps   June 26, 2007
This is the best way I have found to help with the discomfort of leaning over while giving a bath. The only thing that would make it better is if there was one more pad in the middle for when you lean in and use both arms. All in all it was worth buying
