Excellent purchase October 29, 2008 I've had bundle me toddler and this. the difference is huge: real lambswool is twice warmer than synthetic wool imitation, the length of bundle me toddle will serve you for one year - max up to 2 years of age, if you baby happened to be tall european baby - 18 months is a top. Snuggle bub in it's turn served us from 12 months to 3 years, when we stopped using the stroller. yes, we had to put it lower, and by the age of 3 it was covering the lower part of the baby from the waist, but still. and absence of zippers make it less problems to worry about breaking. great purchase.
Almost perfect January 7, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I live in NYC, so a stroller is pretty much the only method of baby/kid transportation. It can get very cold and windy, so a warm stroller bundle is a must. There are many polyester options on the market but this is the only one that I found that is made of actual sheep fur, so my babies stay warm, but never hot or sweaty. I can't tell you how many times I get asked on the street about this "lamy" - everyone wants to know where they can get one! The reasons I am not giving it all 5 stars are all relatively minor. They are: a) it would have been drastically better if it had a zipper, not buttons b) it needs an extra button/loop to stay tight around the baby's neck/chest area (but it's easy to add) c) it doesn't have any way of attaching to a stroller, so it may slide down, especially when your baby is an active toddler. However, you can fix it with a large safety pin, or a ribbon (thread the ribbon through the slats for shoulder straps and tie on the back of the stroller). Oh, and don't bother with the small size - get this large one, as it's not that large anyway. We have tried it with the Bugaboo (both the bassinet and the regular seat) and our Maclaren umbrella stroller and it fits both perfectly.
Snuggle Bub is o.k., not perfect December 14, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've had to add several velcro strips to this bunting so it will stay in my stroller (it slides down). Most of the open slits for the buckles are closable with velcro (to keep out the cold), but the one for the belt, between the legs, is open and cold air blows right in. I added velcro to that too. Also, don't expect it to be spacious--my average-sized 20 mo. old fits it just right right now. I think next year it may be too small (and they only sell one-size-fits-all now). 100% wool is wonderful and pretty, but after the 1st wash it's a little matted. The water-resistance of the outer lining is great. I still like this bunting, it's warm but it could be improved some.
Warm and comfy March 8, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had my doubts when we first used it b/c it closes with just some toggle-like buttons and i was worried that the wind would slip through. But my baby comes out of this stroller-sleeping-bag/wrap warm every time. And we've had a few days this winter here in the Northeast that have been way below freezing with a wind chill strong enough to sting your face.
