attracts attention - a timeless classic September 15, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This little book which I bought on impulse turned out to be the best of the activity books for my son, now 13 months old. He is easily distracted and this book (coupled with his father's additional stories about the bunny) helps him stay focused and stimulates imagination. It is also very helpful at the evening meals, when he is so fascinated that even the tiredness does not make him fuss over his cereal. He literally screams in delight whenever we take the book out. The simple drawings, mild colors and especially soft fur of the bunny make this book an essential for every baby. I cannot recommend it strong enough. A classic, it will sure be a great gift for many generations of babies.
A Classic Book August 30, 2008 This is such a timeless classic! However, I do have a complaint regarding the packing -- the box was broken on one corner, resulting in a bent page. Perhaps some bubble wrap would help in future mailings of this book and others that come in their own box.
Classic Baby Book August 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Pat the Bunny is the best first book to read to your baby. My daughter is fascinated by the bunny and the beard. If you receive two copies at your baby shower like I did, keep both because it will be loved to bits.
Not all that sweet August 11, 2008 Overall just kind of cheap feeling. I'm pretty sure my daughter will destoy this soon. The bunny fur already came off in big clumps with the first pat. I would return it but who has the time as a busy mom??
Overrated July 7, 2008 This book is not as great/classic as it is proclaimed to be. I look at Alborough and Boynton books before I look at this one. The art is horrible, its too european (mummy), and too blonde haired and blue eyed. My daughter likes it, but not as much as her other rhyming books.
