I bought this tent to keep the cat out of the portable playard. It does the job very well. I only gave it 4 stars because the clips that attach the tent to the playard don't fit very well on the side when I have the bassinet part of the playard inside. The bassinet has clips of it's own that go on the side and the tent's clips have to fit over the bassinet's clips. Sometimes the tent's clips slide off. One of them actually broke. I think that it will work much better once I'm no longer using the bassinet part of the playard.

Do not purchase this product if you plan to use your play yard with the bassinet. The tent snaps on in the same spot and you can not use both.

If you have cats or a climber, THIS IS FOR YOU!!! I have both. This is my 3rd tent. I still have 2 and the original on my sons pac n play. It had been on my daughters so it's lasted almost 4 years now and is still in like new (execept for the odd grape juice stain) and I just bought another to have at my sisters. My soon to be 2 year old is a huge climber. He can get out of anything. We have to zip him up to keep him contained. My sisters is NOT kidproof so I got this for our last trip to visit. It worked great.
As far as the complaint, NONE FROM ME!!! It is not that hard to get together but I could see how some might have dificulties with it. It is easier to keep up vs taking it down but it's not that hard. If you have cats or a climber get this tent, there is also a crib tent.

I have a climber! She could climb out of her crib at age 13 months. She was way too young for a bed. We also have the crib tent II and both items have allowed us to feel our now 22 month old daughter is safely in her crib at night--not roaming her room or house while we sleep. It was either these products or emptying all the furniture out of her room, putting a mattress on the floor, and putting a lock on her door at night to keep her safe. Life saver!
WORKED FOR OUR 18 MONTH OLD ACROBAT January 10, 2007
AFTER 2 NIGHTS OF NO SLEEP BECAUSE OUR 18 MONTHS OLD SON FIGURED OUT HOW TO FLIP HIMSELF OUT OF THE PACK N PLAY (WITH JUST SHEER UPPER BODY STRENGTH!)I WAS SO RELIEVED TO FIND THIS CRIB TENT AND IT WAS A PAIN TO PUT TOGETHER (IT TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTES) BUT WELL WORTH IT BECAUSE IT WORKS...HE HAS STAYED IN THE PACK N PLAY AND DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE AT ALL THAT HE WAS "TRAPPED", I THINK KIDS DO LIKE THE PLAYFULNESS OF A TENT. MY 4 YEAR OLD WAS JEALOUS! THERE ARE A FEW DOWNSIDES...ITS A PAIN TO SET UP AND BREAK DOWN AND IF YOUR USING THE PACK N PLAY FOR OVER NIGHTS AND TRAVEL IT ISN'T AS PORTABLE AS COULD BE...AND I HAVE AN OLDER PACK N PLAY, ITS FROM '02 WHEN WE HAD OUR FIRST BABY SO THE ENDS ARE HIGHER THAN THE SIDES SO THE CLIPS HAVE NO WHERE TO CLIP ONTO BUT IT HASN'T MATTERED. THE SIDE CLIPS HAVE BEEN ENOUGH TO KEEP OUR STRONG TODDLER IN PLACE. OVERALL THE PRODUCT IS EXPENSIVE AND A PAIN TO SET UP BUT PRICELESS BECAUSE IT LETS THE WHOLE FAMILY SLEEP SOUNDLY AND SAFELY!
