Good bottles, the cap is not so October 15, 2008 These are good bottles. Glass is definitely an advantage. Hopefully they don't mix any dangerous chemicals into the glass. But the nipple cap needs some redesign. It leaks unless you tighten it really well.
Classic good! October 12, 2008 If I ever were to buy bottle again, I would only purchase these. I wish I had never gotten any of my plastic ones! These evenflow glass bottles clean easier stay nicer and each bottle comes with a ring, tight fitting cap (which my daycare requires) and a little plate you can put in instead of the nipple, which is great if you use them for pumping and storing breast milk.If used in a bottlewarmer, they warm up more evenly and faster than the plastic ones. They fit the Medela PIS without a problem as well. We do not use the nipples that came with them, but any regular nipple will probably fit - we use Gerber NUK. I have been using them daily for about 6 months now and never had a bottle break or chip (though they have fallen a couple of times) and they show no wear at all. And they will not leach BPA into your baby's milk. Yay!
Great bottles October 6, 2008 I love these bottles. They are easy to clean (dishwasher) and do not contain BPA. I also can't believe how many times my daughter has dropped them and they never break.
evenflow glass nursers September 29, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I like the idea of glass with all of the plastic controversy but the bottles are heavy.
Caps leak September 27, 2008 The caps leak on the bottom. I've tried tightening and loosening the caps but that didn't seem to help. While using a spoon to mix the formula I found that some bottles were larger than others and some were out of round (the spoon went in some bottles and not others, it would go in one way but not another). My guess is that I have a bad batch of bottles. I went to Evenflo's web sight but there doesn't seem to be anyway to contact them their about bottles. In anycase the bottles have turned out to be a real pain.
