As a first time mom of twins I agonized over this decision and researched extensively. I think this is the best choice-this is made of high quality, safe, hypoallergenic components, is backed by scientific evaluation, is very well made, and is made in the US. It is more expensive than the average baby mattress but will last through toddler. I would avoid "organics" made of latex or wool, these are probably worse than the toxic standard baby mattress.
